Calculator information
The StockDCA calculator runs in your browser. Purchase prices, share quantities, current prices, and sale inputs are processed locally and are not sent to StockDCA servers as part of the calculation.
New share links encode your inputs after the # in the URL. This is not encryption: anyone with the link can read the values. Browsers do not send that fragment in the HTTP request. Our page reads it and removes it from the address bar before optional advertising loads. Existing links using ?data= still work, but their query data is sent to the hosting provider on the initial request and may remain in technical logs. Links may also remain in clipboard history, messages, browser sync or recipients' records. Do not share confidential information.
The calculator does not load Google advertising. Removing a link from the address bar is not deletion from other people's records, and the link does not provide authentication or access control.
Company research and AI reading plans
Searching for a company sends your search text or ticker to StockDCA's server. We obtain public company information and annual financial facts from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Requests and selected tickers may appear in the hosting provider's technical logs.
When you choose Build reading plan, our server sends public financial observations and your selected research focus to Agnes AI to select relevant reading items. Calculator inputs and personal notebook text are not included in that request. The AI provider processes this public request data under its own service practices.
Saved companies, notes and downloads
Saved companies and saved personal notes are stored in your browser for this website address. They are not uploaded to a StockDCA account or automatically synchronized to another browser or device. Unsaved notes and calculation drafts may be lost when you reload or close the page. Clearing this site's browser data can remove locally saved notes.
Download notes creates a text file on your device and can include edits you have not saved in the browser. Downloaded files, clipboard copies and shared links are under your control; deleting browser data does not delete those copies.
Technical and usage information
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and request time for security, reliability and service delivery. See Vercel's privacy policy. The site does not embed a separate visitor analytics tracker. The calculator's icon stylesheet is delivered by jsDelivr, which receives ordinary network request information; see jsDelivr's privacy policy. Pages use a no-referrer policy for outgoing requests.
Cookies and advertising
Our educational guide pages may load Google AdSense. The research workspace, calculators, About, Contact, Privacy Policy and Terms pages do not load Google advertising. Advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize ads where permitted and subject to applicable consent requirements. Google's published regional messages manage these choices where available; our local advertising preference is not a consent grant.
Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services on its partner sites information page. You can manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center.
External links
StockDCA pages may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, and StockDCA is not responsible for how those services collect or use information.
Data retention
StockDCA does not maintain a server-side account or portfolio database for calculator visitors. Technical logs and analytics information, when collected by service providers, may be retained according to the providers' security, operational, and legal requirements.
Children's privacy
StockDCA is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
Your choices
Open Privacy choices, also available in every page footer. You can disable Google advertising on this browser. We store only this preference in local storage under stockdca-disable-ads-v1; it is kept until you remove the preference or clear site data. It is not linked to your calculator inputs or an account. Global Privacy Control also stops our advertising loader. If browser storage is unavailable, advertising is not loaded.
On guide pages where Google's European message is available, Privacy choices includes a button to reopen it and change or withdraw consent. Applicable US choices use Google's own “Do not sell or share” link. If regional controls are unavailable, you can still disable advertising locally. Removing that local preference does not itself consent to personalized advertising: applicable Google consent choices still apply. These controls do not delete existing cookies, undo earlier processing, or change settings on other sites; use your browser settings to remove stored cookies.
